Periwinkle & Blue…

I’ll never forget. I’ll never give up. I’ll never be quiet.

I promise. -Angie Thomas

Hello nzuri,

Late night post. Trying to get back on track with my Tuesday post is presenting some problems, mainly what to wear. I know what you’re saying, right, like that’s a big issue! It’s just getting into the same spirit I’d had before, trying to find the fun again. My downtime through me off a little.

The featured button up blouse has been in my closet for quite some time now, it’s one of my favorite colors and style of blouse. The buttons on the sleeves and the overlapping coverings on my hands are lovely. Sadly, I’ve noticed the color on the blouse is starting to fade. The blouse use to be so vibrant for years. I’d get compliments on the fit and tailored style everytime it was worn. Unfortunately, it’s time, the periwinkle color looks like a dull blue now and it’s a little snug in areas. My hope’s is that someone else will find the beauty it presents now.

My denim jeans were worn before, I’d purchased from New York and Company last fall. Can you see the snakeskin trim on the side? These pants fit so well, I love them.

Unapologetic about…

…Teaching my children that they must stand up for what they believe in. I teach them that their feelings and emotions matter just like others around them. I teach them that they are just as important as others. I teach them to give and expect respect. We must be the change, lets keep talking, let’s keep this window of opportunity for change to happen in our society. #BLM

Tell me nzuri, how are you doing with everything going on? Are you getting back into some type of routine? My prayer is that you are and doing well…

Until next time, keep styling you unapologetically ๐Ÿ’ž

I feel very sad that in times like these where the hole world is suffering from a virus, we still van t vind it in our harts to respect each other. I hardly can believe that we humans are so intolerante. Never understood racisme of any kind, my goodness we are all people! All unique, respect each other please.

Those jeans are fabulous. The fit is perfect…. I need a pair.

I so agree on finding fun and relaxation and striking a balance. We have to teach our kids, itโ€™s gonna take them.

One day I feel better and almost back to normal and then something will happen, and I feel like we are back in the midst of the restrictions and Covid. Our city has had demonstrations and protests for days now, but as far as I know, no one has been hurt and there has been no looting or damage to property.
Good for you to encourage your children to have a voice and to teach them to stand up for what they believe.

Love this look. I have a very soft chambray shirt that I should wear more often. Never think to put it on. You have inspired me to fish it out. Your jeans fit so well!! You are a doll!!

Writing helps me during this time ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• itโ€™s what keeps me going, itโ€™s how I express myself! It keeps me same, itโ€™s my voice ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

That is cool Arnetta, unfortunately for me, sleeping normally wins out when I’m upset, stressed or anxious. I tend to retreat. I’m getting better though. I hope you are well over there!๐Ÿ’ž
