Motivation to Workout: Snakeskin Trend

I need to see my own beauty and to continue to be reminded that I am enough, that I am worthy of love without effort, that I am beautiful, that the texture of my hair and that the shape of my curves, the size of my lips, the color of my skin, and the feelings that I have are all worthy and okay. – Tracee Ellis Ross

Hello nzuri!

Welcome to this months Ageless Style LINKUP, which is every first Tuesday of the month where ten women bloggers over the age of 40 showcase our different styles with featured themes.

This month’s style feature was picked by Jennie, her thoughts were how we could or have incorporated the snakeskin trend into our daily wardrobe.

So, I must tell you that after looking in both summer and winter closets, I only have this sports bra!! Interesting right, it was a shocker to me as well because I really do like the snakeskin print. Yet for some reason, I only have this item.

I would love some boots or a purse in this style; maybe my husband is reading this as well; birthday and Christmas in same month, it would be SO nice.

Moving along…

I’d purchased this with the explicit thought of motivation to get me back into the gym. I know strange right, well for me, no. I have to talk myself into working out all the time. Be it bribe my ego or whatever; its a challenge and I only want to do it for 30 minutes tops and be DONE. I know, at this age we need to keep the body moving and limber as well as I’d be complaining if I couldn’t get out to exercise, right; yet it is a challenge to stay motivated…

Well, I’d walked into Target for house products and of course I went to the womens clorhing section. I remembered this months challenge and immediately told myself “you really need a new sports bra, you should treat yourself with this as a “get going” gift and then go workout; also it would be a good feature on the blog”.

Well, I really love the sports bra, very stylish and holds well and it is a nice piece for my blog, YET I haven’t worn it to the gym at all!

Now I’m telling myself “its a process to get back into the grove of going to the gym”; it’s not and I’m such a procrastinator!! Although, I still really like this bra!!

Yes, I’m attempting to hold my tummy in!!!! This was when I’d first taken my jacket off, I’m sharing because it is too funny😂😂😂😂

Enough of my antics, lets go over to the other ladies blogs to see their take on the snakeskin trend!!
