“I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” -Lucille Ball
I hope your week was wonderful, as mine was very busy YET I’m here and posting on the blog! So grateful.
It’s blazer season nzuri and I’m all in. I generally wear blazers when I’m meeting clients, attending important meetings or on special occasions.
This particular outfit was worn for work a couple of weeks back for a dress down Friday. I had an opportunity to wear my stripped red and white blazer from here, I’m not sure if you can see the stripes yet when you fold the sleeves over, there are polka dots underneath as well; a really neat addition to the well made jacket.
I paired it with my plaid red and white button down, long sleeved shirt and blue jeans from here. When I’d initially seen the shirt and pants they looked big, the salesperson saw me looking and encouraged me to try them on. This was my first time in this store and she said the pants are deceiving upon looking at them, so I tried them on and she was right. The pants fit great and the blouse drapes like I’d wanted also they were on sale at 45% off original price; win win. Needless to say both were purchased and I’ve been back to the store several times, they have great sales!
My tennis shoes were gifted, they are the classic styled Reeboks from the late 90s, given to me by our grandmother (she strikes again, click link to find previous styled gift). I really like the narrow toe and thick soles, so comfortable and very casual for work wear. They complimented my entire outfit.
I loved everything about this outfit.
Now it’s your turn to tell me what you think, do you like pairing blazers with denim? I’d like to know…
Until next time nzuri, thank you for visiting, now go style YOU!😘
