Working with My Lavender and Purple Plaid

The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but significance, and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.

Hello nzuri!

Well we’re into September and the weather is doing it’s thing, one day its 60 degrees and the next it’s 90, what can I say other than that’s Northwest Indiana for yah… Gotta love it..

Since I started blogging again and with the help of my family, getting the pictures done in advance have been great and nonstop. As opposed to before when my baby was younger, I’d have to do pictures around her schedule and on my own; it wasn’t so easy.

As of right now, I have pictures and content planned well up into mid October, so I can focus on my social media presence with a little more ease. Not rushing into that as well. I only have two sites right now, Pinterest and Instagram.

If you follow me on Instagram, you most likely are aware that many of the photos are placed there prior to my post here. While doing that, it gives me a chance to keep track of what post will be next as well.

Like this outfit of the day, I’d worn and posted it on IG over a month ago. Now, I just add my edited photos and input dialog. Plus I can take my time to revise and revise along the way. I then set up a scheduled date and time prior for posting with the assistantance of WordPress tools. It really makes this so easy.

So I know we’re getting into the plaid season, my goal is to display as much and many different colors as possible. Did I tell you that plaid is one of my favorite style looks for fall?🤗

I really lucked up on these colors, the lavender blouse and plaid pants were both purchased separately; so just imagine my enthusiasm when they matched exactly like I wanted them to. I was very pleased. The look is very clean and streamlined as well as professional without putting much into it.

The day I’d wore it to work, one of the security guards at the building stopped me at the entry way to give me a compliment on the colors, he said it looked like royalty. I thought that was really nice and kind.

What are your favorite fall looks that you like to rock? Is it a particular color or preference? I’d like to know.

Until next time nzuri, thank you for stopping by my corner of the internet. Take care….
