A Day in the City..

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

Hello nzuri!

A couple of months ago my husband and I along with my daughter and In-Loves spent an afternoon in my favorite city, Chicago and what a wonderful day we all had.

We went downtown to one of the restaurants along the lake called Riverroast, which to me, is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. My husband and I had been there before and were so excited to share some of our experience of the restaurant with our parents. You ever been somewhere that everything on the menu sounds absolutely divine? Well that’s this restaurant for me, I can’t ever decide on exactly what I want because I want it all. The food is absolutely delicious and you get so much. On this particular day they had a live jazz band as well, which was pretty relaxing as we sat outside on the patio.

The entire afternoon turned out to be lovely, we had great weather and beautiful scenery along the river. We spent the entire time laughing, embracing each others company and watching the boats sailing by. Everyone was very patient with my picture taking for the blog, until I just did too much😔, just kidding, they were very understanding .

…On the other hand, can you see my Daddy A (father in-love) and husband were done with the pictures by now? You’ll see babygirl below, she had gotten to her limit as well!! They just couldn’t hide it any longer, 🤣 I love them all so much…

… Also, can you see my mother in-love’s pretty smile!!😘 This is were my husband gets his huge beautiful smile (when he smiles), it’s one of the features I fell in love with..

Hopfully if you’re ever in the Chicago area, you’ll check out the restaurant; you will be impressed.

Until next time nzuri, thank you for stopping by nzuri! Take care…
