You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.
Yes, sometimes that’s what I feel like, a flower child, searching for that peace, love and unity within myself as well as the rest of the world.
Lately I’ve been drawn to the flowery, flowy bohemian look. It gives me an easy feeling and because I’m a late bloomer; I know this was very trendy last year. I don’t like to wear what everyone is wearing ALOT of; so I waited it out, even if the trend appealed to me, I don’t like looking like others. Just recently, I purchased some flower pants which reminds me of a pair I’d worn in the late 80’s; history repeating. You’ll hopefully see those soon on the blog.
But back to the look, the high-low rose blouse was purchased from Plato’s Closet a couple of weeks ago. I really like the shape of the neckline and how it closes up around my neck. The material is very light. My shorts were purchased from New York and Company, the relax fit is great especially since my husband and I had just eaten lunch; TACOS. I have several pairs of shorts from NYC, I find the petite inseam is a perfect fit. My block heel sandals were purchased last year from Jcpenney, they have a shiny neutral overtone, really comfortable!
As you can see, not many photos, but what a beautiful afternoon with my husband.
Tell me what you think? Until next time nzuri, thank you for stopping by my corner of the internet…
