I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
Happy February! Although we’ve had some hazardous weather the last couple of -20 DEGREE days in Northwest Indiana, we are still here and so thankful, God is good.
I’d written this post previously and it stated there was a post, it was wonderful. I was talking about how we should be doing what our heart desires were and conquering our fears. I’d talked about not leaping but taking baby steps to get it done, the words flowed. What do you think happened? Yes, the ever dreadful lost post!! Nothing in draft, just gone, all gone..
I was going to GIVE IN and call it a night BUT no, I’m determined to do at least 2 post a week and if I’d put it off until the weekend; it wouldn’t have gotten done.
So my OOTD is geared towards one of my favorite months in celebration of African American history!! Now, in our home we talk about our history, culture and ancestry consistently, so it isn’t just during this month; yet I love the different events celebrating our culture in every aspect…
My dress was purchased a couple of years ago, I believe it’s from an online store called Shein. I love the stretchy material, deep pockets and fit on my body. The neck line is lovely as well, it gives me a nice silhouette to hide some of the interesting areas… If you know what I mean, belly, I’m talking about my belly. Lol
My black pattern leather booties, were gifted by one of many aunts… The height is spot on and there very comfortable. Did you see the red bottoms? Lol, that’s all I have to say about that…
Tell me what you think about the Dramatics?
@ Living Outside the Stacks you see I finally stepped out of my corner and linked up! I joined Thirty Minus One for “Trendy Thursday” and Shelbee on The Edge for “Linkup on the Edge” Friday. I don’t believe I linked up correctly thou, live and learn right… I’ll get it right thou, it seems cool. So hop over to their blogs to check out more..
Until next time nzuri, thanks for coming over!
